Join Green Aspirations Scotland CIC on this one-day workshop to learn green woodworking tools and techniques to make your own rustic stool. You'll use a shavehorse, drawknife, hand drills and tenon cutters to make the different components, and then be guided through the process of cutting, drilling and assembling the frame, and weaving the stool seat. At the end of the workshop you'll have a stool to be proud of and some new skills! Green Aspirations is a social enterprise committed to reconnecting people to the landscape through traditional crafts and sustainable woodland management. All the wood we use is locally sourced using sustainable approaches. Our trainers combine expertise in green woodworking with great teaching skills and we work with diverse groups of people throughout Scotland.
